Croc Jumping Cruise - Adelaide River
Adelaide River Croc Jumping - 45 minutes drive from Darwin. I have done this many times when I have people visiting, and it never disappoints. I'm just so amazed that there are so many crocs, definitely something you should show your visitors.
There are three or four different companies that can take you on the Adelaide River, and they all have very similar names, between them they have a variety of different of boats. Some boats do look 'safer', depending on how close you want to get to the crocs. Our favourite company is Adelaide River Queen Cruises, and choose the Pathfinder boat (small boat, closer to the crocs). The guides are always locals, very informative with a very NT sense of humour.
Do a morning cruise, and then stop at Humpty Doo Hotel on the way back for lunch.
