Stonehouse - Wine Bar & Cocktails
Really nice space with amazing wine and cocktails, cheese plates and snacks - no meals. Busy with after work drinks amongst the office workers. Nice venue for dates or cocktails with the girls. Mostly indoors, but has a leafy beer garden.

Stonehouse

Good Thanks - Burger Bar
Fun and lively little burger bar opened by two Darwin brothers. Great selection of beers and cocktails, even better burgers! Vegan and vego friendly. Think diner style food - fried chicken, mac and cheese, onion rings and loaded fries!

Good Thanks

PM - Modern Tapas
Quality ingredients, cooked simply. Seasonal and amazing cocktail selection, and great Australian wines. The owners are a foodie couple from Adelaide and they love to use fresh local produce as much as they can. Lots of seafood. Great for dates and share plates.

PM

Frankie's Pizza Joint
Also owned by the same team as PM - they are across the road from each other! Great pizzas and pasta. Outdoor and indoor seating. Great for large groups and for sharing. They have a bar if you just want to get a drink and some snacks. Get the waffle fries!

Frying Nemo's - Fish & Chips
Great outdoor (undercover) fish and chips that looks over Tipperary Waters marina. Fresh selection of  local fish, good burgers and salads. The owner is a sommerlier from Sydney, so great wine selection. Huge fish in the marina that you can give your leftovers too (if there is any left overs).

Lola's Pergola
- Bar over looking Cullen Bay marina
A large quirky, carnival themed bar that is a reflection of the owners style. Good for sharing jugs of cocktails and burgers at sunset. Lively, mostly young crowd. They have trivia nights, speed dating, functions etc.

Tap Bar - beer garden pub on Mitchell street
An in-between bars type of venue. Huge leafy tree in the middle and the pub sprawls out onto Mitchel street. Great for having an afternoon beer and people watching. They have live music on the weekend, which is usually a one man singing covers and doing request - i love this.

Tap Bar

Hotel Darwin - live music, beer garden, weekly specials and Darwin locals.
Another Mitchel street venue that you pop into on your way to other bars. Can get a bit rowdy with the locals and FIFO workers. But also fun when there is live music and the dance floor. Draws a tourist crowd, lots of backpackers working behind the bar. Pool tables, sports bar and gaming room.

Monsoons/Wisdoms - late-night-sticky-floor venues.
Putting both of these in the same heading. They are right next door to each other, and by the time you enter either of these venues, you'll most likely be too drunk to tell them apart. Playing all the dance floor party hits. You'll see plenty of hens and bucks parties, army boys, US marines, FIFO workers and shoeless girls belting out tunes on top of the podium (sometimes me). Lots of fun can be had here, if you don't mind drinking out of plastic cups, sticky floors and the occasional fight.

Sunset bars - three similar waterfront venues, all amazing at sunset! They each have huge grassed spaces that are great for groups, kids and dogs.
Ski Club - Very casual seating. Live music on the weekends. Pub style food.
Sailing Club - has a bit more structure and an undercover area. Basic bistro style food.
Trailer Boat Club - has a sports bar area with TV's. Bistro style food.

Good food, always busy - great for groups. Has indoor aircon seating and huge fans for the outdoor seating.
Hot Tamale - Mexican
Typical tex-mex restaurant, very colourful and fun venue. Good selection of imported beers and great for sharing jugs of cocktails. Has a nice outlook over grass at the Waterfront - nice in the arvo after a swim or a sun bake.
